After a little bit of work and a server migration, I've managed to repair the issue with emails being unable to send. Signups are now open and they're free!

Signing up gets you each new post delivered straight to your inbox and gives you the ability to comment on posts and share your thoughts and experiences, ask questions, or provide feedback. I'm toying with the idea of a weekly recap newsletter and member previews, but the intention is every post here will ultimately be public and free to read.

Signing up also gives me a signal that the work here is appreciated and that will help motivate me to provide regular and quality content, research and analysis. It's a true inspiration if you do this little act of showing support.

If you don't prefer to sign up, then there is a free public RSS feed that you can subscribe to with your favorite feed reader. There's also a Bluesky feed for the site at @lefttoourowndevices.blog. You're free to share the content here on any social network you inhabit, but I don't foresee a world where I'll be intentionally sharing content to the corporate-controlled web.

Thanks for reading so far, and I'm excited as this site evolves and new features and more content get added.
